How to Make Comics Workshop in Consecon, Prince Edward County
Monday, August 23 - Friday, August 27, 9am - 12 noon
Draw your own characters into your own story
and put it all together into a comic book.
Kids aged 8 and up.
Cost: $150 per child. Includes art supplies, snacks and hst.
Where: Consecon Art Space, Mill Street, Consecon
(Blue-doored brick building next to the bridge)

About Martha Newbigging:
All workshops are offered by artist and children's book illustrator, Martha Newbigging.
Martha has given comic book-making workshops in public schools throughout Ontario including Kente & CML Snider Public Schools in Prince Edward County and Bayside P.S. near Belleville.
The Ontario Arts Council has supported Martha's March Break Animation Workshop for 2 years in a row in Prince Edward County.
She has also visited dozens of libraries in Ontario and British Columbia to talk to kids about being an illustrator.
Martha believes in providing art-making skills to children and allowing their own vision and creativity flourish within the medium being explored.
